So it's that wonderful time of year when it's freezing in the morning, warm during the day & cold at night. I HATE IT. Let's see...only 7 & a half more months till summer. I like winter because of Thanksgiving & Christmas & such, but I hate the cold weather.
This morning I got up early. Well, early for me. Figured I'd practice from noon to three or so on my drums before going to work. Took a shower, watched a couple of YouTube tutorials on what I wanted to work on today...& then remembered it's sunday. Not monday. No practice today! So I was pretty bummed out.
I went to Tanya's & we played RockBand 2 last night. I'm getting pretty good at the drums on that, I've noticed that they've helped with my actual drumming, & that practicing my drums has helped my RockBand drumming quite a bit. XBOX got the beats a little more accurate than I realized. Someday I want to be this good...
My computer cord has a short in it & it's really irritating me because every few seconds it tells me I've switched to battery power. No I have not. This laptop just sucks. I really need a new one, but it will be awhile...first I have to buy Christmas gifts & save money to spend in New York...then I want to buy a Crash cymbal & a Floor Tom for my drum kit...before all those things I will probably have to buy a new cord though, because I'm tired of putting my laptop away in the middle of something & coming back & the battery is dead. Lame sauce.
I'm tired of living with other people, I want to live by myself. I've always had roommates, & I think I'd like to live alone for awhile.

you think you want to live alone. i totally understand the feeling... but once you do, you'll like wander around your house and stare a things and eat things and be like... "hmm... what should I do now?" that's what i did when i had no roommate last semester. i can safely say i got nothing done that semester.
i'm back in st. charles now. it's super windy and cold. good thing i got a coat this weekend! i love this weather, but i need winter shoes. bad. no one sells cute size eleven shoes and i'm pissed. maybe i'll become a shoe designer for large feet.
