Ahhh, The Memories...

Not having a debit card is really frustrating. I have to pay cash for everything & I am out of cash. Grrr. Hopefully I will get a new one sometime next week.

Last night was fun, I did end up going to Tanya's. We got her cat inside, but the stupid thing came in & just meowed to go back out. So we let her out. She meowed & scratched to get back in. So we opened the door. She just stood right outside & looked at us & meowed. We finally went outside after a couple of hours of this & brought her back in. She kept meowing, & then immediately went behind the TV & peed on the carpet!! I have never seen a cat that insane before. Tanya is getting rid of her today.

We played some RockBand & didn't have a single trick-or-treater, so we ate all the Crunch bars. Then we played Toejam & Earl! Haha, we used to play that on Sega all the time! It was hilarious--& freakin hard! I think those video games were harder than today's because they were about puzzle-solving, rather than shooting people. Plus, you couldn't save them so if you wanted to beat them you had to sit there & play them straight through for like 19 hours. It was fun times though. Also I think that Patrick from SpongeBob Squarepants was modeled after Earl.

See, Earl:

And Patrick:

I just realized it's November 1. Wow. This day is always weird to me because Halloween has just passed, but it still feels too early for Christmas.

Halloween

Today I finally got my Skillet drumsticks in the mail from musichristian.com. DON'T EVER ORDER FROM THEM. I pre-ordered the new Skillet DVD, & after receiving it 5 days AFTER the release date, the drumsticks (& the whole reason I ordered the package from them in the first place), had poked through the PAPER envelope they had sent the product in & fallen out. So then I had to call & complain, which I hate to do, but I wanted my drumsticks!! Well they finally came today.

Last night I let my doggy outside before bed, & it was a pretty warm evening with a slight breeze. I called my Mom outside & said, "MOM! You have to come outside, it feels like Halloween!" I think she thought I was crazy. But it reminded me so much of trick-or-treating with Tanya & Clint & Bradley & the gang. It's funny how just being back in town brings back those kinds of memories.

I know you're reading this. It was 5 years ago today...do you remember?

I'm still not sure what I'm going to do tonight. Tanya's cat got out last night, so I'll probably end up over there today trying to help coax her back inside. Then we will probably play RockBand & eat all the candy she bought to pass out. Haha!

Okay I need to go practice, & then run a couple of errands. I hope everyone has a good day. Be safe tonight, don't eat any apples with razors in them. Haha.
