LoL that's right I FINALLY GOT A NEW COMPUTER!! And not just any computer. A Macbook! I've had it for less than a week & I think I am in love. My Dell was just completely trashed with viruses, so I'm going to wipe the hard drive & my parents are going to use it. Which will be good for them to take on trips & such. But seriously, my Macbook is incredible. Not a hint of pop-ups or ads or sluggishness or anything. AMAZING!
My life has been pretty uneventful. I'm not doing very well at my efforts to blog more often. I've been working 30-40 hour weeks trying to save money for school, so that's about it. And no one wants to hear my restaurant woes haha.
On a totally random note, my new addiction is Urban Decay eyshadow & primer. WOW. It looks incredible & the primer actually keeps it looking great all day. Awesome.
I bought Bill a plastic pool to play in in the backyard. He loves it. He'll hop in & out, drink the water, walk around, put his toys in it...it's so cute. We've already killed a bird in it though, which is sad. This little sparrow had a hurt wing & was hopping around the yard, & he must have hopped into the pool & couldn't get out. It was pretty sad. I think I have more compassion for animals than I do people. Is that bad? I guess I just figure some people deserve what they get through their own actions, but animals are so...helpless, in a way. Idk.
Wow it's only midnight & I'm exhausted. Work tomorrow. Joy. I keep telling myself if I can make it through the next 3 months, I won't have to work for a year. It's what keeps me going.

Why Can't Life Just Be Easy For A Second?
I haven't made a regular update post in a long time. Not that there is much to update. I'm stressing over alot of things right now...it's all starting to build up & it's kind of overwhelming.
Last week I discovered that someone made a $25 purchase at some online gaming company with my bank card. If you've been reading my blog for any amount of time, you know that this is the second time this has happened. So I immediately canceled the card & went to the bank the next day to take care of it. Then a couple of days ago, I got a notice in the mail saying that they were unable to recover that $25 because they had proof that I had authorized the purchase. I would like to know how I authorized the purchase, because I have never ordered anything from a gaming company. So now I get to fight with my bank to get my money back.
On top of that, I was asked last night to do photos for two weddings & an engagement last night, which could easily be an extra $300 in my pocket. But, out of nowhere, my Photoshop program has decided that my "30-day trial" has expired. I've had the program for nearly 3 years. It tells me to enter my serial number to activate it online, & when I try & do that it tells me my computer doesn't have internet connection. So if I can't work that out, I won't be able to do those three shoots this summer.
And that's the least of my computer's issues right now. I have 2 anti-virus programs on my computer. One scanned for viruses & found 157 trojans. But it removed them & there was no problem...for a minute. Then my OTHER anti-virus program scanned & found several more, but each time it gets to a certain point in the scanning process, it shuts down everything & the blue screen of death appears. So even though I've already gotten rid of several of the viruses & my computer is running faster, I know there are still some on here that are causing other internal problems. Which is incredibly frustrating.
THEN, there's school. I'm so excited, but so stressed at the same time. I need to save $2,700 to pay my rent for the entire year up front, & then whatever extra I earn will go towards other living expenses while I'm out there. The goal is to not have to have a job while I'm in school. We'll see how that goes. I'm trying hard to just save money up until then, & I hope I can make enough. It's been kind of slow going at both restaurants lately, so I'm probably going to have to pick up two more shifts at Chili's to compensate...which I am NOT looking forward to.
I have so much going on right now that I need to deal with...but I'd rather not. Just thinking about it while writing this makes me just want to cry.

SKILLET SHOW!!!!!...Part 2!!!!!
Saw Skillet again last night in OKC. SO AMAZING.
I went with Cristen, her brother, & John Dunn. We got to the venue about 4:30, & doors didn't open till 6:30. Cristen & I were sitting against the wall out front & the boys went to walk around, when all of a sudden this huge shadow blocked the sun. We looked up & it was Scottyrock, haha. He was like, "Hi. Wanna come inside?" Of course we did! We waited for the boys to come back & then he took us inside to his "office" to write up our VIP passes. I asked him about interviewing Korey at the show in Wichita Falls next week, & he said, "You know, Korey doesn't do interviews...John does all the press, but you should ask her. Maybe if you ask her instead of me she will do one." On top of that, the Wichita Falls show might not even be happening. Apparently there have been 2 reported cases of swine flu at the University they're supposed to play at, & all public events are cancelled until further notice. "It's ridiculous," Scotty said, "36,000 people have died from the regular flu, but 2 people die of swine flu & the whole country shuts down." Seriously. So hopefully it will all get worked out before then.
We hung out around the merch tables & just waited in the empty venue for the meet & greet at 6:00. Judy, Scotty's wife & Skillet's merchandise manager, came over to me & said, "I know we've met once before, but I thought I'd come over & introduce myself anyway!" I met her once last August for about 5 seconds. I can't believe she remembered that. We chatted a bit about babies, & how she & Scotty can't decide on a name. "If it's a girl, I want to name her Sophia Rose," Judy says, "but Scotty likes Scotty Rose, which I don't think is very feminine at all. And one Scotty is enough!" I said, "I don't know, it could be kind of cute! Like, if you called her Scotti Rose, with an i instead of a y." Her eyes got big & she goes, "You know, that IS cuter! I knew I liked you Cara!" Haha. Jen wandered in for a minute & said hello, & we chatted about the School of Worship for a minute, so that was cool. Korey came in with Xav too & said hello.
When it was time for the meet & greet we got a picture & I told John & Korey I just got back from Wisconsin & that I'm probably going to SOW next year. They were both really excited & asked if it was cold while I was there. "You went to Kenosha?" Ben asked when he heard that. I said yeah & he goes, "You're going to the school of worship aren't you!! That's so cool, you will have such an amazing time. And I help out alot so I'll see you around alot." Maybe Ben doesn't think I'm a creeper. Haha. Scotty called me over then & asked if I had talked to Judy about merchandise. I said no, & he told me to go find her. So I tracked down Judy & told her what Scotty said. "Well, I don't want to ruin your evening," she said, "I know you're with your friends...but we ARE short one person at the merch table..." I told her I would gladly help out if she needed it, & so I worked the table all night. Not quite the front row, but it was a whole other amazing experience. And I could still see the show from the table so that was pretty cool. Judy told me after it was over to take anything I wanted, so I picked up a t-shirt for my cousin & a pair of drum sticks. She also told me they're going to have 3 days off in Tulsa sometime next week, so I gave her my number when I was leaving & told her to call if they need anything at all while they're here. After I helped her do inventory & pack everything up, she said, "Thanks so much again for your help...I'll call you next week!" I hope she does!
This is a much shorter update, but I suppose no one wants to hear about every t-shirt sold all night long. Haha.

Tomorrow!!!!!!!!
Isaac will be here tomorrow night!! I'm excited. If you couldn't tell.
Practiced for 2 hours today...I can't wait to re-post my BG cover, I'm getting alot better. And hopefully I'll have that new cymbal stand in a couple days...that will make it even better. And then I can start learning "Emergency."
Work sucked last night. It was so slow. I made $10. Which is less than half of what I can usually make on a saturday night...oh well. I don't get it, I mean the roads weren't too bad, but if it's cold & snowy outside I'm stayin home & not going out to eat at Olive Garden. I'm ordering pizza & making them bring it to me, haha. I was really hoping we'd close early last night but our district manager wouldn't let us.
Still not sure what I'm going to do for my Birthday...I guess I better figure it out soon.

I Finished My Book Today.
I think I mentioned my book in an earlier post. It's called "Baby Plays Around," & it's about a girl drummer. It's an autobiography, really. Have you ever read a book all the way through & then wanted to start it over right away the minute you read the last word of the last sentence on the last page? That's how this one was. Joelle, I think you should read it. It's so interesting to read about the music scene in New York in the 90's, & what's changed between then & now & how they stay the same...& how quickly everything can change, depending on what decisions you make. It's about music, & of course drumming, but it's so much more than that, it's about overcoming some of life's hardest trials. I really, REALLY enjoyed it.
Worked at Chili's tonight. Made $45, which SUCKS. Working at OG the next three days, & then I have one day off, & then Isaac will be here for my Birthday! I still have no plans. I kind of want to do something really big & fun, but I feel like nobody would really come. So...idk how that's going to work out...
I've been watching American Idol this season, because of Megan Corkrey. She's pretty much amazing. Not the best singer in the competition, but incredibly unique. I love it. I hope she wins, or at least gets a record deal. I would for sure buy her CD.
I'm sleepy.

All Aloney, On My Owny.
Isaac left on monday. I'm sad. I'm so ready for him to just move here. And to get married. Because honestly, I don't see marriage changing my life THAT much, except that he would live here, & we would live together.
I've been drumming alot lately. It's amazing how much fun I have. Today I played "Never Alone" by BarlowGirl over & over & over & over until my arms were numb. I did a video of it...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WoFQdkkQtmM...it's okay. I plan to make a better one once I learn the song better, & also because I messed up the end. Bad. Haha. But it's not too bad, I think, considering I started learning it a few days ago & I've done all of it by ear.
Speaking of drumming, I just found out that England has a "School of Rock"...sort of like the movie! No, just kidding. No, idk. ANYWAY, I guess they've been trying to get approved to work with that school to get one over here in the States, & this semester we are officially getting our own School of Rock...at the University of Central Oklahoma! How perfect is that. I am by no means good enough to go there this year, but I think if I practice really hard & keep taking lessons I will be good enough to go there in the fall of 2010. I still really want to go to SOW in Wisconsin though, but the best part of UCO is that there's an OSU campus 20 mins away where Isaac could take fire science courses. So I'm at a crossroads, because UCO is close by & would teach me some great drum technique, & SOW is far away in Wisconsin, but it would teach me drumming AND how to develop my relationship with God. So we will see. I'm going to pray about it. I have a whole year.
Nothing much else going on...picked up a shift at work last night & I made $40 in tips, plus my hourly, which is REALLY good for ToGo on a slow tuesday night, lemme tell ya. And Shannon's dad came in & ordered food, & left me a really good tip & it made me happy. I just love him, he's so funny. Today I was off, & I took my Mom out to eat for her birthday (which is tomorrow, but I have to work), & then my sister came home & we went to dinner at Cheesecake Factory where I ate entirely too much. Blah. Tonight I am going to IHOP with Cristen, where I will NOT eat anything...maybe a salad, but nothing else. I need to quit being a fatty.
I guess that's all for now...btw, was anyone else pissed at the finale of The Bachelor? I mean, what was up with that?!

Pointless Post.
I don't have much to say. This will be boring.
Last night I went out to IHOP with Cristen after she got out of work. We were there at about midnight & they told us the kitchen was closed until 2am for cleaning. We decided to stay & have drinks anyway...but then we had been sitting there for about 20 minutes & our waitress brought like 2 steaks & a couple salads & some pancakes out to the table next to us, & we were like, well hmm. Closed, huh? It was weird. So then we went to Wal-Mart, where I bought shoes I didn't need...but I have been looking for some cute black flats for awhile, & they were cheap.
I have today off work, which is kind of random...usually I work mon-fri & then have saturdays & sundays off. I'm really not looking forward to working on saturday this week because I've heard all sorts of horror stories about the new lady I'm scheduled with. I'm pretty sure she's bipolar. Last week I was having really bad cramps, & she had been complaining that she was only scheduled one day that week, so I called her to see if she'd maybe want to work. She FREAKED out on me & told me she didn't appreciate the short notice, & that it was inappropriate & a big inconvenience for her (I called her 2 & a half hours before the shift started), & that she'd TRY to be there...& then she hung up on me! So I called her back & told her not to go in. She just hung up on me again. I don't care who you are, do NOT hang up on me, especially someone like that that I don't even know! So I'm pretty sure my big mouth is going to piss her off at the beginning of the night because I'm pretty sure I'm going to say something about it to her. Nicely, of course, but I'm sure she will get mad.
I have no plans today...I'm sure I'll think of something.

Double-Bass.
I bought a double-bass pedal, a crash cymbal & a ride cymbal from a co-worker tonight for $70. A freakin sweet deal considering the pedal itself is $100 retail. I have a drum lesson on friday & I can't wait to get started with it. Since I didn't get home from work till 11 I haven't had a chance to test out the cymbals, but I'm sure they'll be great. I do need to go out & get another cymbal stand soon for the ride though.
I've been working non-stop. I worked saturday, sunday, & tonight, & my next day off isn't until friday. Which is good, considering I had time off during the ice storm & Isaac's visit, but I think by friday I'll feel dead. And then I have to work saturday as well because everyone has to work V-Day. Even though I'd rather stay home & eat a big tub of ice cream & mope because I have someone but he won't be here. I think that's worse than being alone, personally.
Speaking of friday, I have a photoshoot lined up, so that should be fun. So with the drum lesson & the shoot, it won't TECHNICALLY be a day off, but at least it will be fun work.
The last few nights after work I've gone to Walgreens to get my favorite kind of sunflower seeds but they're out. Does that place ever get a delivery truck? And who's buying those seeds besides me??

Ice Storm.
Today I got all dressed for work, Dad came home early to pick me up, & we drove 30 minutes (that's how long it took in the ice & snow) to OG. We pulled into the parking lot & there were literally like two cars there. Drove around front...& there was a sign in the window: "Closed due to weather." Nice of them to call & let me know! Oh well, now I have another free night off work. I'll work at Chili's tomorrow, & then OG on thursday, & then Isaac will be here!!
I've decided that since Isaac & I won't be together on Valentine's Day, we'll do our own V-Day on sunday when we get to St. Louis. So tonight I've been wrapping gifts & planning out the evening. Anyone know of any good, not-too-expensive restaurants in St. Louis?
I need to finish decorating my room. I have a Twilight poster, wooden "movie tickets" that I got from my parents, & my "Que Sera Sera" sign that I need to hang. Maybe I can talk my dad into helping with that tonight. Speaking of "Que Sera Sera," I've been contemplating tattoos lately, & I've started considering getting that one. I like what it means ("whatever will be, will be"), & it sort of became a nickname, so it makes me think of my mom...it might be a good one for me to consider getting. More so than any kind of image, I think. I've started to narrow down the options...I'm going to start doing some mock ups & then I'll post them here.
EDIT: Okay, here are my top 3 tattoo ideas. Which one do you think is best? Click to make them bigger.
1. Invincible Symbol

WHAT IT MEANS TO ME:
This symbol was designed by John Cooper of Skillet & means "Invincible," based off of their song by the same name. The premise behind it is that when you give your life to Christ, your old self dies & you are reborn into an invincible life, because even after your body dies, your spirit is alive in Christ.
2. Que Sera Sera

WHAT IT MEANS TO ME:
I've already been over this one a bit...means "Whatever will be, will be." It was also my nickname as a kid.
3. Whispers In The Dark

WHAT IT MEANS TO ME:
The words are lyrics from a Skillet song (God promising that he will never leave us alone even in the darkest nights), & the music notes behind it are the first few bars of the drum music for the same song.

4th Photo.
So, Laura tagged me & I have to post my 4th photo from my pictures folder & explain it. So here we go...
Hmm, wow this is weird. This was my...I think 19th Birthday? I went bowling with a bunch of people from school, & then we had a party at someone's house afterwards. To be honest, I don't even really remember this night much, except that I had rubber duckies on my Birthday cake. I don't even know who took this picture...or why there aren't any others. Odd. But, the only person in this photo that I still talk to is Isaac. That's kind of sad. Funny how life changes.
I'm trying to learn a song on th drums. This song, actually:
It's harder than it looks, let me tell you. But a really fun song.
Today, I am doing absolutely nothing. I'm actually not really looking forward to that, because I'm pretty bored already. The only plans I have are to go to IHOP with Cristen after she gets out of work, which is at like 11 tonight. On an unrelated note, I can't remember if I mentioned in an earlier post that someone at OG is stealing money out of our ToGo drawer. $800 was taken in 2 days. We got a new drawer with a metal top that locks on it, & things have been okay since. But friday night when I went to cash out the first server, I noticed that the corner of that locking top was all scratched in the corner & a little bent. Someone on MY shift tried to steal money & if I hadn't been doing my job 100% correctly, locking that stupid thing EVERY single time I got in & out of there, more money would have been taken. It makes me not want to take my purse into work...I mean, I never have cash in there, but what if these people took my credit card? Or my checkbook? Ugh, it's just so annoying when you can't trust the people around you.

I Chopped All My Hair Off.

Last night I went to Cristen's house for pizza & movies, & our friend Sarah ended up coming over too. She cute Cristen's hair SUPER cute & so I decided on impulse that I want her to do mine too. Well, you know me, I do things BIG or not at all. So here is my new hair. Crazy-short, & I LOVE IT. It takes like 10 minutes to style & that is amazing. So if you live in the area go to Tulsa Hair Co. & ask for Sarah. She is awesome.
I'm going to start trying to learn to play a song on my drums. Then I will post a video here for you all to enjoy. I think I'm going to start with "Supermassive Black Hole" by Muse, because it doesn't seem too hard & I really like that song.
I just realized I have to get dressed for work. Crap. I'm going to be late.

Okay, It's Official.
Isaac & I are getting back together. No more whining from me! Haha! Well, not about that. For now. Either he's coming to visit me or I'm going to visit him at the end of January. I cannot wait. After all this hurting & hoping & praying, it's finally working out.
Yesterday I went shopping with my parents & bought way too much stuff. Haha. I bought this journal at Barnes & Noble that's freakin cool, it's hardcover & says "Just when the caterpillar thought life was ending, it became a beautiful butterfly" on the cover. I don't know why I bought it--I have WAY too many empty journals. But it just really struck me, & I have to think of something really great to put in it. At the mall I spent my Hot Topic gift card in about thirty seconds. Haha. I got a Team Edward tee, a Paramore tee that says, "There is something I see in you, It might kill me, But I want it to be true," & a REALLY cute black & white striped bag that says PARAMORE in huge pink glitter letters. Love it.
Work tonight was insane! It felt like a friday rather than a monday! I made $30 in tips plus my hourly, I think I'm doin alright there.
Not much else to say...I need to start saving money. Christmas killed me. Haha.

Pray For Me.
Everything hurts. It's going to be a really hard holiday season. January 31 would have been 5 years, & just that thought alone is enough to make me want to crawl into bed & never come out again.
I survived my first night at OG last night...everything was pretty much exactly how I remembered. It was stormy & kind of icy last night, so it didn't get too busy, but we did all right. I'm off today & then I work thurs, fri, & sat, so that should be interesting.
I had my first drum lesson in two weeks today, & I wasn't as rusty as I thought I'd be. I FINALLY picked up 2 beats I've really been having trouble with, so I may be making another video soon. After my lesson Mom & I went to lunch & to Kohl's, where I bought too many clothes (as I always do there). Good times.
"The Dark Knight" is out on DVD & I still haven't bought it. What is this world coming to?

OG Opens Today.
I'm kinda glad I'm not there...it will give the new girls a chance to get their heads, & that way maybe tomorrow I won't be bombarded with questions. Not that I mind helping them at all, but it will be CRAZY busy already. Today there were already people waiting outside 30 minutes before the doors opened. Insanity.
No more nose ring. I'm really sad about this. I went to a piercer & had it changed to a clear
spacer, but you can't even tell it's pierced anymore, it just looks like an ugly zit. The whole purpose of getting it pierced is so people can see it, right? Plus, the spacer is much thinner than my original screw, so the hole is going to shrink, which means I'll never be able to use it again unless I want to endure some serious pain & soreness for awhile. I'm not very happy about any of this at all.
I feel dead. Is that weird? I just want to sleep all the time. But I can't sleep for some reason. So I have these ugly purple bruises under my eyes from tiredness.

Do You Ever Feel Like You're Just Stuck In Life?
I do. Right now I do. Nothing is going the way I want it to. In fact, it feels like I'm moving backwards, rather than making progress, like I'm the only one who knows where I want to be in life but I'm the only one who can't change it. I hate feeling like I'm losing control of my own life. I am so close to just giving up on what I want. I need to face the fact that it's not going to happen, & then when it doesn't I won't be disappointed. And it will save other people the chore of having to let me down. None of this probably makes any sense to anyone else...just the ramblings of my tired mind.
Today was the last day of training at OG. We open tomorrow, but I'm off. It will be soooo nice to sleep in! Maybe I can get a new nose ring tomorrow.

Annoyed Major.
So today I went & bought a clear retainer to put in my hole & spent an hour trying to get the screw that's already in (the one it was pierced with 2 years ago) to come out. It is STUCK. Won't budge. So I had to drive back over to OG & tell them there is no way this thing's coming out. They told me to cover it with a bandaid until I can get to a piercer to change it for me. *sigh* So now my nose is all red & sore & irritated...kinda like me! I mean seriously, of the 20-some girls I work with at Chili's only TWO don't have some sort of nose ring. I think OG needs to catch up the the times a bit. I mean for goodness' sake, my GM has big silver steel gauges (those swirl ones that look kinda cool)! I honestly don't think he personally cares that much but since it's a restaraunt opening all the corporate big dogs are on everyone's case for all of it to be perfect. Ugh.
I finished reading "Eclipse" last night & decided Bella is a moron. The man of your dreams, your SOULMATE asks you to marry him & you're too worried what your friends will think?! Oy. Move over, I'll marry him. And Jacob...just...ugh. That guy is an idiot. I just bought "Breaking Dawn" & I can't wait to get started.
My Aunt Charlotte is in town for the weekend, it's been ages since I've seen her it feels like. So on that note I'm going to go downstairs & socialize rather than complain to all my lovely readers about stupid people.

Who Really Cares About A Tiny Little Nose Ring?
OG does.
Today I went to lunch & ran errands with my Mom. We went to Collinsville to get me a food handler's permit & then to the new piercing place here in town to see about getting my nose ring changed. Argh, it is so frustrating that OG is so retarded about piercings. There's a guy that's training with me that has half-dollar sized gauges in his ears that they aren't making him take out, why should I have to take my nose stud out? When I asked if I could replace it with a flesh-colored stud, my manger just said, "It can't be visible." So...can I replace it with a flesh-colored stud? Unfortunately the place here in town is out of the one I need so I'm going to have to go in tomorrow morning & explain my options. *sigh* It would be so much easier if they would just get over it.
I bought "Eclipse" yesterday & I've already read half of it. I'm pretty sure that Jacob is a big fat baby & needs to grow up & get over himself. I'm wearing my Edward Cullen t-shirt today & the lady at the restaraunt we went to was like, "Oh my gosh! I'm reading those books right now, I love them! I felt so dumb when I went to buy the second one & they told me it was in the young adult section--I'm 43 but I can't read them fast enough!" It's really crazy what a phenomenon this thing is...maybe even bigger than Harry Potter.
Grrr, I'm still so frustrated over this whole nose ring thing...I'm a half a step away from just taking it out. But I really love it, & I don't want to have to pierce it again later. And it's not like I'm going to be working at OG forever. I guess I'll just have to go in tomorrow & explain the situation & if they're not cool with it they can fire me I suppose.
I am finally enjoying my only day off this week. It's a nice feeling, considering I'll have to be up at 7:00 again tomorrow to go learn more things I already know for 8 hours. Ugh.

The City That Doesn't Sleep.
I'm FINALLY updating. I get so bad at this. My personal early New Year's resolution is to attempt to write one blog a day for at least a year. I think it's a really good way to track change in your life, but I always fall out of the routine.
Anyway, New York. Let's see, we got there on monday & went shopping in Times Square. The Virgin Record Store had tons of Twilight stuff, so I ended up with a poster & a t-shirt that says "What if I'm not the superhero?" on the front & on the back it says "What if I'm the bad guy?" I think it's kind of a fitting shirt for me regardless, haha. I think that was the day we saw Clint Eastwood in Rockefeller Center...I can't remember, it's all a blur. Tuesday was the first day we went to Al's show, I think, & I got some awesome pictures! I posted them on my Facebook if anyone wants to see. Hmm...wednesday we watched Alli on Racheal Ray & then there was more shopping I think...oh yeah, that was the day I met up with my friend Tina! We did some more shopping in Times Square & I ended up buying another Twilight tee, haha (*sigh*...oh, Edward). Thanksgiving Day Alli was off & we caught the tail-end of the parade & walked around Chelsea for awhile, then went back to Alli's apartment & baked cookies. Black Friday was STUPID, we made the mistake of going into Macy's (the largest store in the world, by the way) & it was a MAD HOUSE. There were lines for the ESCALATORS. Craziness. We saw the show again that afternoon (Catherine Zeta-Jones & Michael Douglas were in attendance for that one) & then headed home that night. Somehow it always seems to take so much longer to get home than it does on the way to a vacation. But all in all it was really fun.
Today I started training at Olive Garden, which is really completely pointless considering I quit there in January so it's not like I've already forgotten everything. So I got up retardedly early (had to be there at 7am...yuck) & half-slept through a bunch of lectures about stuff I already know. And I have four more days of this. Ugh. We open on monday & they're expecting about 9,000 guests in the first week. Those of you that don't know restaraunt lingo, that's ALOT of people. So I hope that equals ALOT of money.
I suppose that's all for now, I have to get some work on some photos from a shoot I did for a friend before I go to bed.

I Can't Believe It.
That's what I keep saying over & over again.
For those of you that know me well you know that I worked at Olive Garden for 2 years & HATED my managers. Quitting was one of the best feelings I've ever had.
And now I'm back. Oy.
I went to the OG that's opening in a couple weeks here in town, just to ask some questions. I figured I could maybe work two days a week there doing ToGo, & keep serving at Chili's. I had an interview, & the manager said he was very impressed with my personality & experience, & he said, "What can we do to get you to quit Chili's completely & come here?" So now I have a job at OG for $9/hr PLUS tips, PLUS sundays off, PLUS the promise to be a trainer & a bartender. So now I have to tell Chili's I will only be working there one day a week. Not excited about that at all. I hate that part. Especially since I really like Chili's, I just am not making enough money over there lately. It all sounds really good, but I'm a little gunshy from my previous OG experience, so we'll see what happens. I'm kind of excited but kind of have that scared feeling in my stomach. It will be much longer hours...less time for drumming & hanging out with friends...the money should be good though...idk the more I think about it the more it kind of stresses me out. I do sort of like the idea of going in with some seniority though.
Other than that, it's been a pretty uneventful day...gave the dog a bath, did some laundry, tidied up my room a bit in preparation for my cousin's visit. I'm going to see "Twilight" tonight. I'll let you know how it is.

Nothing To Say...
...but I'm going to blog anyway. Haha. Tonight I'm training a day 5 at work, which will be nice because I'll get paid a little bit more hourly & since she's a day 5 she'll be the one taking all the tables & I just have to watch. I'm so lazy lately. It's the weather. The cold makes me just want to stay inside with warm blankets & a book or a movie. But I need to make a little more money before vacation. Though, I don't really have much I want to spend it on...I definitely do not need clothes, & I can't really think of anything else I'd shop for while we're there. I'm sure I'll find something I just "have to have" though. And then I will come home & get rid of more clothes, for like the 8th time this year.
Drum lesson tomorrow! I haven't been this excited about taking weekly lessons for something since I took horseback-riding lessons when I was a kid. I even LIKE to practice, imagine that. It helps that I feel like I'm doing pretty good at it...not to blow my own horn or anything, I just feel really natural at it. And I can't wait to start learning songs.
I went to Best Buy to get a new cable for my computer & it was $100!!!!!!! So I got online & ordered one for $30. Much better. Now I just need to replace my freakin iPod cord...my sister took mine to New York. I seem to be having trouble with technology, haha.
Okay well I guess I will go get ready for work, sorry this post is a complete waste of time haha.
