iTouch.

I freakin love my iTouch. Holy cow. It's pretty much amazing that you can check your facebook, Myspace, email, update your Twitter, watch videos on YouTube & listen to music all on one tiny little handheld device. I'm pretty much in love. I post things from it (comments on facebook, etc.) just because I can, even though my laptop is like 2 feet away. Haha.

I went shopping with my mom today. We went to Best Buy so I could get a cover for my iTouch, but I want a hot pink one & the only one they had was $30. I didn't really want to pay $30 for a peice of rubber, so I'm hoping they'll get some more pink ones in at Wal-Mart, where they are only $18. After that we went to Ross, where I spent waaaaay too much money but I am so excited. I got a DKNY t-shirt, a couple of really cute jackets, some shorts, an Andy Warhol purse, & these amazing shoes that are made out of recycled bottles & tires. Like seriously, the bottoms of the shoes are tire treads. They are pretty much the coolest thing ever.

I had a drum lesson yesterday & showed Emily the BarlowGirl song I've been working on. She's going to help me with some of the really cool fills that I haven't quite figured out & then teach me how to play "Decode" by Paramore. SO excited. Paramore's drummer is really good.

Not much else going on...I'm off work till wednesday, which is nice...but I need money too. Isaac will be here 2 weeks from tomorrow!

Que Sera, Sera.

I have a headache. Hopefully a Mountain Dew will help. I really wonder if I'm starting to get migraines...that would suck. It seems like I ALWAYS have headaches now though. Maybe it's just the weather.

Today was pretty fun, I went shopping again with my sister. I bought the Paramore Riot! CD, 2 movies, & a wall hanging that says, "Que Sera, Sera." It's from a song. I don't know why, but when I was a kid my mom would walk around the house singing it & somehow it became a nickname for me. So when I found it at Hobby Lobby on clearance for $10 I had to get it, if for nothing other than the sentimental value.

I need to have another drum lesson. I want to start learning songs. I put on my headphones & try to play along, but with one cymbal & no floor tom it's kinda hard. I think my next big investment will be a floor tom. And there's a guy at work looking to sell some of his cymbals, I need to check into that.

Isaac will be here in 21 days!! Gah, I can't wait.

Korey Is At The Mall Today.

Yep. Korey Cooper, my hero, is at the mall in town today. I was there all day yesterday, why couldn't she go yesterday?! I have to work today, so there's no way I can go see her, which is a bummer. Such is life.

Isaac got a plane ticket yesterday!!! He's coming to visit Jan. 30 - Feb. 5!!! A whole week! I cannot wait. I have to think of some cool things we can go do. We might drive to OKC for a couple of days & go to Bricktown, or maybe to Stillwater to visit my cousin. Idk which one yet...but I want him to have alot of fun. Maybe then he'll see that it's not as boring as he thinks here, haha. Aaaahhhh I'm so excited to see him it's ridiculous. And I'm glad he's coming to visit me here, rather than me going there. It will be better that way I think.

I went to the mall yesterday with my parents & sister. I hate shopping with Al because she always talks me into buying those really cute things that I don't really NEED, but that I want to buy anyway. Haha. So I ended up with an adorable pair of green & black checkered flats on clearance from Aldo. They're slightly too big, but nothing some inserts & some tissue paper stuffed in the toes won't fix. Haha. Also, Victoria's Secret is having their semi-annual sale, & I can always do damage in there. And believe me I did.

Nothing much happening today...just work tonight. Closing OG again. What fun.

Okay, It's Official.

Isaac & I are getting back together. No more whining from me! Haha! Well, not about that. For now. Either he's coming to visit me or I'm going to visit him at the end of January. I cannot wait. After all this hurting & hoping & praying, it's finally working out.

Yesterday I went shopping with my parents & bought way too much stuff. Haha. I bought this journal at Barnes & Noble that's freakin cool, it's hardcover & says "Just when the caterpillar thought life was ending, it became a beautiful butterfly" on the cover. I don't know why I bought it--I have WAY too many empty journals. But it just really struck me, & I have to think of something really great to put in it. At the mall I spent my Hot Topic gift card in about thirty seconds. Haha. I got a Team Edward tee, a Paramore tee that says, "There is something I see in you, It might kill me, But I want it to be true," & a REALLY cute black & white striped bag that says PARAMORE in huge pink glitter letters. Love it.

Work tonight was insane! It felt like a friday rather than a monday! I made $30 in tips plus my hourly, I think I'm doin alright there.

Not much else to say...I need to start saving money. Christmas killed me. Haha.

Now I Will Be Warm.

Today I went shopping with my Mom. Got myself a metronome & drum key at Guitar Center, then went to the mall. Got some new boots to wear in NY that will supposedly keep my feet warm in -4° & a new coat. I'm really not a fan of coats, they're so bulky. Actually, I'm pretty much just not a fan of winter. I hate the cold. It's too hard to try & look cute when you're wearing like 10 layers, & besides that I just hate that feeling of that cold wind that feels like it goes right through you. And I miss flip-flops.

"The Break-Up" is on tv. I really hate this movie, but somehow I can't stop watching it. Reminds me a bit of my life in alot of ways, unfortunately. But "Lipstick Jungle" is on tonight, & that is my new favorite show. In fact it just started, so I'm off to watch it with a big bowl of ice cream.

Nothing Creative Comes To Mind...

Today I had my first drum lesson. I'm catching on pretty quickly I think, at least that's what Emily said. I've already nailed the basic rock beat & now I'm learning to expand on it & how to read drum music. I think I've definitely found my musical niche! I'm already excited to practice this week, & for my lesson next thursday.

After my lesson I went shopping with my Mom. We went to Kohl's where I bought a cute white long-sleeved tee with pink "paint" spatter on it. Then we went to Shoe Carnival to look for some boots for Mom & I found the most comfortable sneakers I've ever worn in my LIFE--they're made of canvas & rubber. They're called Blowfish. I've never heard of them, but they were regular $40, marked down to $9. So I had to have those too.

God has really been changing me & answering prayer lately. I went to Shannon's wedding shower last weekend, & her sisters did a devotion for her & gave her some advice. Something Amanda said really struck me (even though I'm not married & probably will not be getting married anytime soon). She said that she didn't realize her selfishness in her marriage at first, & that she always had the idea that if her husband wasn't loving her "the right way," she would just teach him how to fix it, & that that is a very selfish point of view. It made me realize that I had been doing that very same thing in my relationship, & that I had quit depending on God because I thought that I could handle it better. I think that's where things started to go wrong. Now that I realize that, I really hope it's not too late to fix it. It's like I'm a whole new person, & I hope I can have the chance to prove that.

They're doing construction all around our house right now--repaving the roads & laying cable. My dog has been going crazy. He'll be napping, or chewing his toys & then out of nowhere he'll leap up & start barking like crazy. We tell him to shut up & then he just sort of marches around the house growling under his breath. His short little legs crack me up. He's so funny looking.

I can't believe tomorrow is Halloween. I don't have a costume. It's been a few years since I went to a costume party. But I'm sure I'll find something fun to do. Maybe I'll go to Tanya's & play RockBand all night & pass out candy. Hahaha.

Sis sent me this picture today...the show starts next week! Mom & Dad are flying out wednesday, wish I could go. But I need to stay here & make some money so I'll be able to spend it when I get there at Thanksgiving!
