I just saw him on a commercial, & he's way younger than I would've guessed.
Isaac left today. I cried alot & then had to go to work at Chili's right after. Idk if people just felt bad for me & my red puffy eyes, or if I just got lucky, but I made $40 at lunch, which is really good. Then I went to lunch with my Mom & washed my car. Now it's shiny & clean & it's supposed to rain tomorrow. Since I washed my car, I know it will. After that I went to dinner with Reese & her daughter (the cutest little girl in the history of ever), & then we tried to go to Church but for some reason it was cancelled. I was super bummed out, because this is the first wed night I've had off in ages & we didn't get to go.
My Birthday was good. I got a new cymbal stand, so that required some rearranging of my kit...takes some getting used to, but everything sounds great. We had dinner at Cheesecake Factory & I ate amazing buffalo wing things. Isaac & I were watching tv when we got home & some weeeiiiiiiird movie came on Cartoon Network at midnight. We watched the entire thing, & it was seriously the worst movie I have EVER seen. It's called "The Room," & I would recommend it (if you fast-forward the first ten minutes or so haha). It was just so terrible that it was funny. I laughed so hard I was crying. I'm even going to show you a scene from it, so you can see how bad it is...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ISXiFJS9D5A. Click that. For real. So anyway, it wasn't a super eventful birthday, but it was fun. I can't believe I'm 22.
Saturday we went to the City to see Flyleaf. They are so amazing, I love their live show. Lacey is such an inspiration. I took some really good videos for any of you Flyleaf fans at www.youtube.com/user/Duck387.
I have a terrible headache, & my eyes still hurt. I think I'm headed to bed.

Just A Few More Hours...
...And Isaac will be here! I'm excited. He got delayed by a flat tire though...luckily he has plenty of experience from changing mine (I had 3 blowouts in as many months...faulty tires), so he's on the road again.
I re-recorded the BarlowGirl cover...check it out on Myspace or Facebook & leave a comment.
Nothing much else to say...sorry this is so short. My Birthday is tomorrow. It doesn't feel like it.

Tomorrow!!!!!!!!
Isaac will be here tomorrow night!! I'm excited. If you couldn't tell.
Practiced for 2 hours today...I can't wait to re-post my BG cover, I'm getting alot better. And hopefully I'll have that new cymbal stand in a couple days...that will make it even better. And then I can start learning "Emergency."
Work sucked last night. It was so slow. I made $10. Which is less than half of what I can usually make on a saturday night...oh well. I don't get it, I mean the roads weren't too bad, but if it's cold & snowy outside I'm stayin home & not going out to eat at Olive Garden. I'm ordering pizza & making them bring it to me, haha. I was really hoping we'd close early last night but our district manager wouldn't let us.
Still not sure what I'm going to do for my Birthday...I guess I better figure it out soon.

iTouch.
I freakin love my iTouch. Holy cow. It's pretty much amazing that you can check your facebook, Myspace, email, update your Twitter, watch videos on YouTube & listen to music all on one tiny little handheld device. I'm pretty much in love. I post things from it (comments on facebook, etc.) just because I can, even though my laptop is like 2 feet away. Haha.
I went shopping with my mom today. We went to Best Buy so I could get a cover for my iTouch, but I want a hot pink one & the only one they had was $30. I didn't really want to pay $30 for a peice of rubber, so I'm hoping they'll get some more pink ones in at Wal-Mart, where they are only $18. After that we went to Ross, where I spent waaaaay too much money but I am so excited. I got a DKNY t-shirt, a couple of really cute jackets, some shorts, an Andy Warhol purse, & these amazing shoes that are made out of recycled bottles & tires. Like seriously, the bottoms of the shoes are tire treads. They are pretty much the coolest thing ever.
I had a drum lesson yesterday & showed Emily the BarlowGirl song I've been working on. She's going to help me with some of the really cool fills that I haven't quite figured out & then teach me how to play "Decode" by Paramore. SO excited. Paramore's drummer is really good.
Not much else going on...I'm off work till wednesday, which is nice...but I need money too. Isaac will be here 2 weeks from tomorrow!

All Aloney, On My Owny.
Isaac left on monday. I'm sad. I'm so ready for him to just move here. And to get married. Because honestly, I don't see marriage changing my life THAT much, except that he would live here, & we would live together.
I've been drumming alot lately. It's amazing how much fun I have. Today I played "Never Alone" by BarlowGirl over & over & over & over until my arms were numb. I did a video of it...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WoFQdkkQtmM...it's okay. I plan to make a better one once I learn the song better, & also because I messed up the end. Bad. Haha. But it's not too bad, I think, considering I started learning it a few days ago & I've done all of it by ear.
Speaking of drumming, I just found out that England has a "School of Rock"...sort of like the movie! No, just kidding. No, idk. ANYWAY, I guess they've been trying to get approved to work with that school to get one over here in the States, & this semester we are officially getting our own School of Rock...at the University of Central Oklahoma! How perfect is that. I am by no means good enough to go there this year, but I think if I practice really hard & keep taking lessons I will be good enough to go there in the fall of 2010. I still really want to go to SOW in Wisconsin though, but the best part of UCO is that there's an OSU campus 20 mins away where Isaac could take fire science courses. So I'm at a crossroads, because UCO is close by & would teach me some great drum technique, & SOW is far away in Wisconsin, but it would teach me drumming AND how to develop my relationship with God. So we will see. I'm going to pray about it. I have a whole year.
Nothing much else going on...picked up a shift at work last night & I made $40 in tips, plus my hourly, which is REALLY good for ToGo on a slow tuesday night, lemme tell ya. And Shannon's dad came in & ordered food, & left me a really good tip & it made me happy. I just love him, he's so funny. Today I was off, & I took my Mom out to eat for her birthday (which is tomorrow, but I have to work), & then my sister came home & we went to dinner at Cheesecake Factory where I ate entirely too much. Blah. Tonight I am going to IHOP with Cristen, where I will NOT eat anything...maybe a salad, but nothing else. I need to quit being a fatty.
I guess that's all for now...btw, was anyone else pissed at the finale of The Bachelor? I mean, what was up with that?!

I Like Surprises.
Even ones I already knew about!!
Isaac showed up at my house yesterday! We were on the phone on saturday or sunday & he said something like, "Well maybe I will just show up at your house this week." I didn't really believe him because my parents were planning to leave for Winter Park with the Rameys on tuesday, & I told him so. He said, "Oh...well that sucks I thought they were leaving on saturday." So I didn't think that much more of it...but then he started acting all funny & secrety. So I had an idea he might be coming, but wasn't sure. Then my mom ended up being sick & not being able to go to Winter Park, so he decided to go ahead & come. So thanks Mom! Even though I'm not glad she was actually SICK, & I know she was pretty bummed about not being able to go...but you know what I mean.
Yesterday my friend Sarah came over with her guitar & we "jammed." I've always hated that term for some reason, it just sounds like a bunch of 14-year-olds that can't play their instruments hanging out & pretending to play music. I dunno. But anyway, I am WAY excited because we are going to really try & get something going. We played for maybe an hour & actually sounded really good considering we had never heard each other play or anything. Now we just need to find another girl to play bass & a guy to sing, so I can have my awesome girl/guy band. So I'll keep you posted...we'll see where it goes. I'm getting ready to go pick Sarah up now & we're going to play today too.
And Isaac is taking FOREVER to get ready...but at least he's here. :o)

What A Week.
This week was amazing, just like I knew it would be...I am so sad that it's over.
Isaac got here on friday & we played RockBand & had dinner with Tanya. Saturday (which was our 5-year anniversary, technically, by the way) we went to the zoo, & ate lunch at Chili's & then I made Isaac go see "Twilight" with me. He is such a good sport. And I think he actually enjoyed it a bit.
Anyway, sunday we got up & drove to St. Louis. Got there around 5pm & checked into our hotel, then Isaac watched the Super Bowl & I took a nap. Afterwards we drove into Illinois & picked up Rachel (it had been almost 6 years since we had seen each other, I still can't get over that) & spent many hours at Steak 'N Shake catching up.
Monday we had dinner with Shannon, where we ate a ton of food & felt like little piggies, & smoked some awesome hookah & had lovely conversations for 3 hours before meeting up with Rach in downtown St. Louis. We hung out at a bar for awhile & sang some karaoke & then went to a restaurant in the casino & ate a gigantic slice of Red Velvet cake.
Tuesday we drove to St. Charles & hung out with Shannon & Tyler at their apartment for an hour or so before driving home.
Wednesday we had lunch at Hideaway Pizza (sooo good!) & then went to Catoosa to see the Blue Whale, which was pretty cool, but sorta sad too. I think someone should re-open it.
Today was a sad day. We mostly hung around the house...& I moped. I know it's not fair because it makes Isaac feel bad, but I can't help it. I get so sad when he leaves...& it always ruins the whole day because I keep thinking, "We only have 4 more hours...2 more hours...we have to leave in 30 minutes..." It just sucks. I should probably have a better attitude, but I can't help it. I cried the entire time we were at the airport. And all the way home. I hate goodbye, especially when I have no idea when the next time I see him will be.
