What I wanted to say only got in the way.
I've been talking with my friend Heidi online, & we were talking about social skills, basically. Lately I've been feeling like sometimes my brain gets so excited during a conversation that my mouth can't keep up. Then my words get all mixed up & I end up feeling like I sound stupid. Another thing I notice is that sometimes I will be having a good conversation with someone, & I will just stop talking & let the other person do all the talking. I've noticed this happening especially when I'm passionate about the topic. I've been thinking about it & wondering why this is, & I remembered that one of my church mentors in middle school told me once, in front of my friends, that I talk too much. And my friends all agreed. I was so hurt & embarrassed. I really think it's kind of given me a complex, because before that I NEVER would have thought that I talk too much...I thought I was just social. And to have all my friends agree...idk. It was just kind of a slap in the face, & I think in the back of my mind I worry that people are going, "gah, this stuttering chick won't shut up!"
I'm watching "Enough" with Jennifer Lopez on TV. It really makes you understand how some women get in a situation where their husband/boyfriend beats them & they can't get out. It makes you think twice before judging women in that situation. Sometimes they really CAN'T "just leave"...it's more complicated than that. If you haven't seen it I actually recommend it. It's interesting.
I need to go to bed soon. Gotta get up early & get some practice in & run some errands before we leave for Kenosha tomorrow! Pray for me! I'm really nervous!

So Much To Look Forward To!
Three of my favorite bands ever have new albums coming out this year...Skillet, Flyleaf, & Paramore. PLUS Johnny Depp has a new movie coming out, PLUS the new Harry Potter movie is coming out, as well as New Moon. I can't wait!
Better than all that though, Isaac will be here in 4 days & my Birthday is in 5 days! I bought myself a Birthday present last night, haha. I bought the purple Paramore beanie & a VersaEmerge CD...I'm excited. And Isaac said he bought my Birthday present yesterday...I wonder what it is. I don't think he's ever managed to get me something that was COMPLETELY a surprise...well, except for my ring. So this should be interesting.
Okay, time to go get ready for work. Blah. It's pouring rain, which means it won't be busy at all. Oh well.

A Day Off.
I had today off work. It was nice to relax, actually, even though I feel like I didn't work that much last week. I slept in & then got my hair cut by my lovely friend Sarah at her new salon. It was needing a trim. I might do hot pink tips in it, & screw what OG thinks. Haha. After my hair appointment I went to see "Duplicity" with my Mom. I don't think I would recommend it. It was kind of hard to follow, & even though it all made sense in the end, it wasn't really what I expected. Which sometimes is a good thing, but not in this case.
I need to do some hardcore drumming tomorrow. It's been a couple of days since I've gotten some good practice in. I need to do another video of the BarlowGirl cover. I'm hoping to get a second cymbal stand for my Birthday...& maybe a floor tom?! That might be pushing it haha. But I can cross my fingers, at least for a gift card to put towards one. SO, if that happens I will be making ANOTHER video haha. Not that anyone will watch, but I really like to see my improvement.
Not much else to say...I will leave you with a video of what will be the biggest movie highlight of my summer. WATCH IT NOW!

And So The Lion Fell In Love With The Lamb.
So "Twilight" was amazing. Never read the books & never really had any strong desire to (in spite of everyone telling me I would love them), but I went to the midnight showing of the movie last night with co-workers & now I'm hooked.
I like to watch movies like that before I read the book, because then I'm not disappointed in either one. The general consensus last night was that most everyone liked it, but there were a few of the hardcore fans that were disappointed. The only bad thing about seeing a movie like that is that people kept blurting out things like, "That's not what he said in the book!" And since the fan-base of this series seems to mostly be 12-year-old girls, there was alot of giggling in places that really weren't funny, which ruined the moment several times.
Overall & all that aside, I was so addicted even in the middle of the movie haha. I wanted it to just keep going forever. So now I'm reading the first book & seeing the movie again tonight with my cousin. Hehee.
Go see it, even if you think you don't want to. Do it now.

"I Have Learned..."
"...that you never leave your partner, especially in a fire."
I went to see "Fireproof" with my parents tonight, I would highly reccomend it for anyone who has ever been in a relationship, or is in a relationship, or ever will be in a relationship. It's not as cheesy as Christian movies usually are, though the acting is a bit dodgy in spots. The point is clear & well-stated, & I think it's something that everyone can apply to their own lives in one way or another. I found myself really being able to relate to all of the lead characters in some way, they all represent very different walks of life.
I had another photoshoot today, a girl I work with wanted some pictures to send out on Christmas cards. It was REALLY windy today, so I hope they turn out all right & she likes them...yet another reason I have people set their own rates. I'm not a professional or anything, so I want people to be able to pay for what they feel I deserve & not feel like they're being ripped off. I think there are some really good shots though, I'll be posting them on my photo site (http://flickr.com/photos/everydayhistoryphotography)
so feel free to check them out in a few days & leave comments either here or on the site (though I think you may have to have an account there to comment).
I really need a vacation. People say, "How can you need a vacation, you only work 4 days a week!" That may be, but it's still monotonous (I have no idea how to spell that) & if I get one more $2 tip I think I may strangle someone.
The Dunns are here, so I guess that's all for now.

It's A Nice Day For A White Wedding
That song is stuck in my head haha. Me & Tanya seem to always end up playing it in RockBand. Fun song, little creepy.
I just started watching "Jack" on TV, that movie with Robin Williams where he's ten years old but looks like he's forty. Sad movie, but really good too. I haven't seen it in years, it'll be interesting to watch. I'm sure I'll end up buying it. I have this movie addiction, I buy them all the time. I finally made a rule for myself that I can't spend more than $10 on movies, otherwise I will totally be broke. I think I have about 150 movies now. I'm also completely addicted to sunflower seeds. I don't know how or why it started, but I HAVE to eat sunflower seeds when I'm watching movies. You'd think I was trying to quit smoking the way those bags disappear.
This is a completely pointless post but I'm bored.
